eWeather Component has been released under GNU/GPL.
Note: This package has only been tested under Joomla! 1.5.x

After downloading the latest version of com_eweather from www.robertjlavey.com/en/eweather-homepage/eweatherdownloads and installing it, you will need to:

1. obtain a Partner ID and Partner Key from The Weather Channel,
2. add locations,
3. configure the component, and
4. set up eWeather to be shown on your front-end

To obtain a Partner ID and Partner Key from The Weather Channel, go to www.weather.com/services/xmloap.html, and you'll find instructions for how to register with The Weather Channel and receive your Partner ID and Partner Key.

To add locations, go to the eWeather Location Manager and use the Publish Selected, Unpublish Selected, Publish All in View, and Unpublish All in View buttons to add and remove locations. You can use the Search box to search for specific text, and you can use the drop-downs to select any combination of published/unpublished regions and countries. You can also select a default location from your site from the Location Manager, since the search/filter capabilities can make it easier to find a specific location.

To configure the eWeather component, go to the eWeather Configuration Manager and add your Parnter ID/Key, select the default region/country/city, and select other parameters. If you have questions about any of the parameters, feel free to post a question in the forum ( www.robertjlavey.com/forum.

To see eWeather on your front-end, you need to add eWeather to your main menu. You can also install and configure the eWeather module, but you still have to add eWeather to the main menu.
